If you'd like to check your current Optimizely subscription, click your username and select Account Settings.

Important:

Once you leave a legacy Optimizely plan, you can no longer return to it.

 
Note:

If you upgrade your subscription in the middle of your billing cycle, you'll receive the full monthly unique visitor allowance for that cycle, regardless of when you upgrade.

30-day Free Trial

New customers can try out Optimizely Testing with a 30-day free trial. This gives you access to an Enterprise Testing plan with full functionality and unlimited Monthly Unique Visitors (MUVs).

What are my support options?

During your trial, you have access to online resources under Optiverse (Academy, Community, Knowledge Base) and can file support tickets online.

What happens after 30 days?

At the end of your free trial, we'll automatically pause all your experiments. You can still log in and view your results, but you won't be able to start any new or existing tests until you sign up for a paid plan.

Pay As You Go plan

Pay As You Go is a new payment type offered by Optimizely. With this plan, you get access to the entire Optimizely Enterprise Testing Standard plan and online ticket support at a fixed rate of $49 for every 1000 monthly unique visitors tested. No contract required.

How much does it cost?

The Pay As You Go plan is $49 for every 1,000 monthly unique visitors tested on your account, in a given billing period. If a visitor sees multiple experiments on your account in a given billing period, that same visitor will be counted just once.

How and when do I see the bill?

Visit your account page to see your latest usage numbers. At the end of every billing period (30 days), we'll calculate your total usage and send you an invoice via email.

How do I control my budget?

The Pay As You Go Plan lets you set a limit on how much you spend on Optimizely in a given 30-day billing period. We call this a budget.

This is optional but can be a helpful way to manage how much you spend on experience optimization. If you reach your budget, we'll automatically pause all your experiments.

You can change your budget at any time from your Account page.

What are my support options?

Customers on the Pay As You Go plan have access to online resources under Optiverse (Academy, Community, Knowledge Base) and can file support tickets online. 

Legacy Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Starter plans

We no longer offer our legacy Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Starter plans. As an existing and valued customer on a legacy plan, you have the option to:

  • Keep the current plan - Don't take any action and keep paying the same price for your current plan.

  • Upgrade - Move to an Enterprise plan to take advantage of the new pricing and plan structure. Choose a plan that offers the support and features that are important to you and your business. You can learn more about our new pricing here.

Priority Support can be added to any Enterprise subscription if you desire an extra level of service. It includes 24x7 support outside of normal business hours including holidays and weekends for critical issues.

Additionally, you receive guaranteed response times based on the severity of the issue (between 1 and 8 hours response compared to 24 hours for standard support). As a priority support customer, you enjoy direct access to support engineers via phone.
