  • Integrate DialogTech and Optimizely so that phone call conversions can be attributed to Optimizely experiments
  • Create a custom event so that DialogTech can track conversion types

DialogTech (formerly Ifbyphone) is the world leader in voice-based marketing automation. DialogTech's applications include keyword-level call tracking (SourceTrak), call routing (hosted IVR), call management (virtual call center), and outbound notifications.

You can configure Optimizely and DialogTech to work together so that you can see "offline" phone conversions alongside online conversions. This article will show you how to set up the integration.

  1. Select the Domain Sets that will send data to Optimizely
    • Navigate to Integrations>Optimizely Integrations within your DialogTech account. Click Allow Access
    • Select the SourceTrak Domain Set you want to send call data to Optimizely from the list 
    • Click Save
  2. Create a Phone Call Goal in Optimizely 
    • Create your experiment, with variations
    • Click the Goals button and click Create New Goal 
    • Create a Custom Event Goal with the Custom Event Name being “st_phone_call” (use without quotes) 
  3. You're done!

Note that there may be up to an hour delay between a call occurring and Optimizely updating the experiment results page, though calls will sync to the times they occurred.
